If it’s been 6 years, one can only assume your petition must have already gone through and your spouse should have her legal status. Not much you can do. However, if you believe you have enough evidence to prove fraud, you may have a case. Contact an attorney, and you could also compile any evidence and bring it to ICE. - IMF

ive been married for 6 years my husband has been in the states for one year he left me after 3 months i havent seen him and he hasnt talk to me he was staying with the female sponcer that he fail to mention he had 2 children by in jamaica after he left she stop answer her phone what can i do

You should get your paperwork together and make a report to ICE. He said after our initial interview he was not going to live with me but stay with his Nigerian wife who is here illegal with four children. I sent a letter to USCIS and nothing was done. He then sent in a fraudent application a year later claiming to be living at my home and false affidavits and one from a woman I never met fake supporting documents of bills we supposedly had together and got it approved. What can I do?

Hello. Sounds like you have a good case. I would immediately contact an attorney who can assist you with the process. You should also get a jump on compiling any and all evidence that may pertain to your case against him. I would also suggest making reports of the fraud to your local police dept. When you compile all the evidence, you should go online and make an appointment to appear IN PERSON at your local ICE office and give them the evidence in hand. This will help your case tremendously. - IMF

remarriage of my husband in america

My husband ,left india in year 2002,for further studies, after that he did’nt came back after that, niether he is providing any financial support,to me.I am in deep trouble,I have two kids from him.He communicate via emails, only and doesn’t provide any address in US.I have doubt that he has got married again in US ,to get green card. Please suggest me what action I can take against him,and how I can find out that he has got married again. He has not given divorce to me.

He has repeatedly abused me physically and refuses to split financial obligations fairly... I want a divorce but I don't know how to go about filing for divorce and also deal with USCIS about removing support from his papers. The last time he physically abused me, i called cops and he began to smack himself in the face to avoid an assault charge.

Hello. First off, you are in a serious situation and need to take immediate steps to protect yourself from abuse. Abuse is unacceptable. You should first file for a retraining order, then contact your local domestic violence shelter, as well as contact an attorney. I was personally married to someone who used me for a green card, and I can say with 100% certainly that some people are willing to do anything to keep their life here in the U.S. You should remove yourself from this situation immediately if you have been abused and fear for you safety. Contact your family as well. You also need to start to compile evidence against your spouse to prove your case for immigration marriage fraud. I stress again that you need to file reports about abuse and also get a restraining order because these are meaningful things in an annulment/divorce proceeding and are pertinent to your case. You must take careful steps to protect yourself and compile evidence. Make copies of EVERYTHING. You then will need to make an appointment online so you can visit your state’s local ICE office to bring ALL of your evidence, and make your report IN PERSON. Remember, go to the ICE office IN PERSON and make a report! Those who do not heed this advice and protect themselves FIRST, then compile all evidence and bring it to ICE in person, have a much less chance of getting help! - IMF

is the 18663472423 just for giving a tip for deporting someone?

Yes, that is the ICE hotline for reporting illegal aliens/activity, etc.

Las Vegas Marriage Fraud

How and where do I report marriage fraud in Las Vegas, Nevada? I reported to ICE and DHS but nothing happened. Jay ———- married his cousin Maria ————- who works at MGM Grand in 2009 so that he would become citizen in exchange of money. The woman has another husband and they have a kid. How would the fraud and immorality be stopped?

——————————————-

If you already provide a report and evidence to your local immigration authorities, there is nothing further you can do. You took the step to report it, it is up to the authorities to act. My advice is you let it go. If you would like to provide more evidence to ICE and file a follow-up report, you should do so IN PERSON. Bring any evidence you have with you. You will have to make an appointment online, then appear in person. - IMF

An Iranian-Canadian lady went to Iran and arranged a fake marriage of her daughter that was a...

An Iranian-Canadian lady went to Iran and arranged a fake marriage of her daughter that was a Canadian citizen with her first cousin (Her sister’s son). She applied for him to come to Canada having a Canadian wife. He was approved and came to Canada. She got paid $15,000. He came to Canada as an immigrant and they went their ways without ever being married. Practically this was an arranged marriage for immigration purposes. This lady is in the business of bringing immigrants to Canada? I would like to know if this case goes to court who is to be charged? In a dispute that has nothing to do with this matter lady threatened the boy that she will go to the police and deport the boy.

What can be done about this? We did not see this coming and did not think this could happen.

Hi. It’s hard to tell without knowing the immigrant spouse’s status. But if this seems like a blatant abandonment of the marriage, then I would work hard to file for annulment asap. If annulment if out of the question, a divorce will suffice. Your BIL should also refer to USCIS & ICE about the situation. Lawyer-up fast, compile evidence, and if it turns out to be abandonment/fraud, then turn in your evidence to ICE, directly in-hand, terminate the marriage, and move on. It’s NOT a hill to die on. ATTACHMENT is the real bringer of pain. Remove attachment and emotion from the game, and PROTECT YOURSELF.

right now getting divorce, but I'm victom marriage fraud and my wife lie to say abuse and I never hurt her need help anulment and deportation answers

Hello. First thing you need to do…..PROTECT YOURSELF! We tell this to victims all the time, and unfortunately many don’t listen. Please start by distancing yourself from your immigrant spouse the best you can. Make a detailed police report about your current situation and have the police place it on file. Then, move out, move away, whatever. Move wherever you gotta go to get AWAY from your spouse. An immigrant determined to achieve residency/citizenship in America will stop at NOTHING to achieve that goal. Don’t pretend like everything is ok and get hooked in to some trap. DISTANCE YOURSELF, NO CONTACT. Then call a good attorney, if you can afford it. Thirdly, compile any and all evidence you may have supporting your suspicions of immigration marriage fraud. If you havent been married long and your spouse is still doing her paperwork, you can call USCIS and inquire about removing your support of your spouses papers. You can withdraw your petition for immigrant spouse. But get all your evidence together, and make an appointment to go IN PERSON to your local ICE office in your State and bring them your folder of evidence and give it to them IN PERSON. If you miss one step, if you slip up one time, it can get really scary and serious for you. You must protect yourself, and resist the urge to fall in to any traps that may incriminate you in the process. Be safe, and gather your evidence. Make the phone calls. - IMF

Turn illegals in to ICE: 1-866-DHS-2-ICE

Turn illegals in to ICE: 1-866-DHS-2-ICE

#1 Immigration Marriage Fraud help & support web site.

#1 Immigration Marriage Fraud help & support web site.

Permission

We get lots of emails on “permission”, regarding what a petitioner can do for their immigrant spouse. However, a lot of the emails and questions seem to be from those inquiring about how they can prevent their spouse from succeeding in their quest for citizenship if the marriage ends. “How far can they go without my permissions?”

This is a disturbing but frequent circumstance of immigration marriages. If you feel a sense of “authority” over your immigrant spouse, and a “duty” to prevent them from their goals if the marriage ends bitterly, then you should seriously consider the option to avoid a legally binding contract, altogether.

It is all too often that humans forget that marriage is more than a commitment, it IS indeed a lawful, legally binding contract between 2 parties. And if you’re marrying someone because you feel a sense of power over them and their destiny, we thoroughly advise you to reconsider your thought process and try to fully understand the potential consequences and repercussions of your actions.

If you promise a human being a better life, and then marry them, please don’t forget that if the marriage goes south. We should all be more responsible for our own decision making and actions.

I am an American citizen living abroad for many years, met my fiance 4 yrs ago, plan to marry soon and stay abroad for a while.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials have trained local officers around the country to act as their agencies’ immigration officers. Working either in jails or in the field, the officers can check the immigration status of suspects and place immigration holds on them.

The program, known as 287(g), reached its peak under<a href="http://content.usatoday.com/topics/topic/President+George+W.+Bush" title="More news, photos about President George W. Now there is a child too who is 2 years old. Ever since she got her U.S passport she has changed and the marriage is a failure according to her. 1st she tried to run away to Spain when the baby was 1 year old but somehow came back because of her parents presure. Recently she is unahappy again and even now have affairs in the U.S and outside as well. She doesn’t care about her kid or anything else. What is the best option for us.

it is very unfortunate but true that we were not aware of it.

Her whole family is involved in this sort of immigration fruads. This is their 3 instant: they marry to a person and spend a considerable time with them until they get somthing permanent and then ditch that person and marry with someone after they get their status

Now she has a U.S citizenship: is there anyway we can report it and turn it around I am sure its too late?

——————————-

Hello. Sorry to hear of such unfortunate circumstances. This seems like just another example of humans putting material possessions, status, and money above genuine love, care and compassion. Arranged marriages are obsolete, antiquated, and not to mention…..silly. When your mind still operates on an obsolete thought process, you wind up doing things that can find you in dire situations such as this. You can always compile evidence to prove your case and provide it to your local ICE office in your State, but this train seems to have moved on past any consequence. Our best advice to you, as well as everyone else, is to better use your mind, “upgrade your operating system”. In other words, learn to use more brain tissue, and from it, you will become a better human being, thus avoiding such situations as this. - IMF
